Dental Hygienists

Lou

Lou is a lifetime resident of Morgantown, WV and a graduate of WVU School of Dentistry’s Dental Hygiene program. She has worked for the Morgantown Dental Group for 33 years as a clinical dental hygienist, is certified for application of bleaching agents, as well as a certified public health practitioner in dental hygiene. As a hygienist she performs all aspects of dental care including oral prophylaxis, taking x-rays, application of fluoride, and specialized procedures such as periodontal scaling and root planning.

Her duties include implementing and overseeing the radiologic safety program, monitoring hygiene instrument sterilization, care and maintenance of our automatic film processor, including collection and disposal of processing fluids according to “EPA” regulations. She developed out procedure protocols for “in-office” whitening, and ordering whitening products.

Cheri

Cheri has been a Registered Dental Hygienist at Morgantown Dental Group for approximately 16 years. She has also worked in Orthodontics and two other General Practice offices.  She graduated from WVU School of Dentistry and enjoys volunteering in the WVU Dental Hygiene School, various Day Care facilities, and some of the local health fairs teaching dental health.

Cheri has one daughter Courtney, and a grandson, Gage, whom resides in Fairmont. She attends Mass at St. Mary's Church in Star City. Some of her hobbies include attending Mountaineer Sporting events, going to concerts, butterflies, gardening, and walking.

Terry

Terry has been with Morgantown Dental Group since February of 2003 on a part-time basis. She is an avid Mountaineer Fan and lives in Cheat Lake with her husband Martin and several furry friends.

Julie

Julie has been a registered dental hygienist at Morgantown Dental Group for eight years. She also works as an oral health educator through the West Virginia Children's Dental Health Program in Preston County Schools.  She holds her certification for Public Health Practice Permit, as well as certification for the application of bleaching agents. Julie attended Potomac State College, and graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Her main focus has been in private practice dental hygiene, but she also worked at the Monongalia County Health Department in public health for several years.

Julie enjoys reading health articles, boating, cooking, and attending sporting events, as her three sons made sure she maintained a genuine interest in sports. She resides in Cheat Lake with her husband Kieffer.

Marsha

Marsha has been a dental hygienist with Morgantown Dental Group since 1992.  She enjoys meeting new people of all ages and feels that every encounter is a chance to share in learning.  Marsha cares for individuals and their families.

Dental Assistants

Diane

Diane is the personal dental assistant of Dr. Dolin. Her unequaled knowledge of dentistry and experience as an assistant has come from over 23 years of work in the dental profession. Having a belated husband who was in the military and Federal Bureau of Prisons allowed her to work in 11 dental practices in 4 different states! Diane is a registered dental assistant with an expanded function license in the states of West Virginia, California, Colorado, and Texas. The mother of three children; Tanner, Maureen, and Jessica, Diane has lived in West Virginia as an assistant to Dr. Dolin for over 4 years now. She considers herself a Mountaineer and looks forward to spending the rest of her career at Morgantown Dental Group.

Tina

Tina has twelve years of dental experience ranging from scheduling to billing. For nine years she has been chair side assisting for Dr. Mike Wilson and Morgantown Dental Group. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is cosmetics and the ability to help positively change someone’s smile. She lives in Morgantown with her husband David and teenagers, Tyler & Kaelynn.

Barb

Barbara began her dental career in 1971 as an assistant to Dr. Don Comley who was Morgantown's only oral surgeon and a good friend of Dr. J. Fred Wilson.  In l974 Barbara joined Morgantown Dental Group as Dr. Edward Hawkins’s chair side assistant. She has been married 27 years and has two grown sons, and three granddaughters. Barbara enjoys all her patients, especially children.

Lynn

Lynn has been a dental assistant at Morgantown Dental Group for her entire career. She worked with one of the original group, Dr. J. Fred Wilson until his retirement and now works for Dr. Mike Wilson. An avid equestrian, fabric-a-holic and paper diva, she's always busy!

Administrative Staff

Sandy

Sandy has been with MDG for 21 years. Her duties consist of answering the phone, scheduling appointments, checking out patients, and handling insurance filings. She considers herself the unofficial Morgantown Dental Group greeter because she loves to talk with patients, and the friendships that have been formed.

Kristie

Kristie is the Scheduling Coordinator for the hygienist’s, and contacts patients regarding upcoming cleaning appointments. She provides assistance for any questions regarding appointments, and answers the phone. She has worked in the health care field for seven years and has been in the dental field for three years. Her goal is to help patients in any way possible.

Connie

Connie assists in greeting patient, and guiding them through the check in and out process. She also takes incoming calls and schedules appointments for patients for Morgantown Dental Group and also for patients that need to be seen by a specialized dentist. Connie also handles much of the administrative needs such as faxing and copy dental documents for patient information, and preparing files and charts for the current day. She has been in the dental field for 16 years and with Morgantown Dental Group for 10 years. Connie enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is originally from PA, but has lived in Morgantown for over 30 years.

Susan

Susan has been the Office Manager with Morgantown Dental Group since 2004. Her duties include managing the everyday operations, answering the phone, scheduling patients, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and collections. Susan has lived in Morgantown all her life. She lives in South Hills with husband David and her two children, Shane and Sierra. In her spare time she enjoys selling real estate and helping her husband with their DJ business as well as family time, walking and crafts.
